Founder Milton Chang (PhD ’69) will explain why he chose bonsai, how he evaluated the opportunity, positioned the company for sustainable competitive advantage, set up a low-overhead infrastructure to be the lowest-cost producer, and applied e-commerce marketing techniques to build the business.
He will also share how Techers can excel in any field by broadening what they know and applying Caltech-honed problem-solving skills.
